The Equity Alliance Fund proudly endorses Aftyn Behn for Congress in Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District.

Aftyn has earned this endorsement by showing up when it counted. While Trump and his MAGA allies attack our schools, strip away our rights, and rig the economy for billionaires, Aftyn has fought back. She's pushed to end Tennessee's grocery tax — because working families shouldn't be punished for feeding their children. She's championed marijuana legalization to fund crumbling infrastructure — because our roads and bridges shouldn't collapse while corporations get tax breaks. And she's stood up for Black, working-class, LGBTQIA+, and immigrant Tennesseans who've been told they don't matter. These aren't abstract positions. They're about survival, dignity, and whether Tennessee works for all of us or just the wealthy few.

In a political climate defined by corporate greed and authoritarian control, Aftyn stands with the people. She represents a new generation of leadership rooted in integrity, accountability, and action, not allegiance.

The Equity Alliance Fund’s mission is to build independent Black political and economic power across Tennessee. That means endorsing candidates who don’t just talk about justice but deliver tangible results for our communities. Aftyn Behn is that candidate.

Our ground game is strong in District 7, from Nashville to Clarksville, and we’re organizing every day to ensure our people have a voice in this election. Because this race isn’t just about one seat, it’s about shaping who has a say in Tennessee’s future, our future.
